My 69’ C-10 needed a transmission rebuild badly. It has the standard TH350. I contacted many shops and most of them refused to work on it, couldn’t get parts, or recommended Kenny Wilson with Wilson Auto Repair. Not only did Kenny and his team rebuild my transmission, but they did all of the extra work to make it right from replacing the speedometer gears to hooking up the kick-down cable. After all of the extra work he still honored the price quote. It shifts like brand new and the truck is a lot more fun to drive. I had no idea how bad the transmission had got. Thank you, Kenny and team, for the 5 star service.

I am here to tell you that Kenny, Donnie, Kenny's wife (sorry, but I can't recall her name), and the rest of the crew there helped me out in a big way on 9/25/25. A buddy and myself set out to go to the Goodguys Lonestar Nationals at Texas Motor Speedway and just as we crossed the Red River coming from Missouri, the transmission in my 65 C-10 blew up. I googled for a shop and the shop I called told me to call Kenny because he specializes in 700R-4 transmissions. I called Kenny, he sent a rollback and had us off of the road in about 30 minutes. We get to their shop, they roll it off and had it in the air in NO time at all and started on it then and tere. This was a Thursday at almost 6pm mind you. Kenny says to me that his brother Donnie will tear it down that night and after Kenny had a Kidney stone removed at 10am on Friday that he would rebuild it when he got back. That in itself is very impressive, but he had it done by 6pm that day. It was a bad thing that my transmission went out, but the service I got was beyond imaginable and I even got to River their lab to like me. I offered to take Rive with me, but that was put to a stop by River's Mom, lol. Anyway, they are great people and treated me great. I highly recommend them for any repair your car needs.

Wilson Auto repair is amazing!! I dropped my truck off to them on a Wednesday at noon to have the transmission diagnosed and repaired and they had it ready to go the next day at noon. Kenny and his Wife were very helpful through every step of the process. Their labor charges are more than fair and they provide quality work. I had ZERO issues with my truck during the long drive home. My dad has taken his truck to Wilson auto repair many years ago to get the transmission rebuilt and after many miles and years, his truck still drives great to this day and he’s had zero issues. I’m very pleased with my experience with Wilson auto repair and I recommend them to anyone!
